This one is a 1962 Rambler Taxi, professionally restored original JoHan Taxi. It has a crack in it\'s windshield and I didn\'t have any chrome re-plated, but I listed as new & pro built because I believe it truly deserves it. I will pay return shipping if the buyer decides it is not. It was a fun build and I\'ve always wanted to restore one of these Johan taxi\'s....so here it is with a low, take me home start price! It\'s painted taxi yellow with new decals under protective clear lacquer coats...all sanded and polished to a glassy shine. Nicely trimmed in metal foil....including all scripts and emblems. The TAXI roof light panels were left unpainted to give them a more realistic back lit look and it\'s decals include a \"I heart NY\" rear sticker and numbered \"42\"....the answer to everything! Other exterior details include....a set of new whitewall tires, steel fender mount antenna, side view mirror and a set of 1962 New York taxi license plates. The interior is just as beautifully detailed in platinum and sable brown with sienna brown headliner and medium brown flocking for the carpet. Other interior details include more metal foil trim, rear view mirror and turn signal lever.....push button shift. Chassis is also nicely detailed in satin black with steel and silver details and an aluminum engine. Note: I\'ve only added one drop of cement to each glass/interior tub post so if in the future someone wishes to replace the windshield....it will be easier. If new plating is desired, simply remove the four chassis screws....the chrome is not cemented and held in only by the screws.....these tires fit just as the original black walls and also easy to remove for wheel plating. I chose to leave these things as they are just because.....it\'s a NY taxi cab, and actually could use some dirt & dents! It\'s original blackwall tires will be included as well.....just in case you prefer to switch them out for an occasional \"look\" change.Free USPS expedited shipping anywhere in the continental US!
