Made by Yonezawa (Y) sold as Cragstan in 1963 this 12 inch friction robot with battery voice is one of the rarest of the series.
This one actually works and says 4 things:

He is getting old and repeats himself, so it helps to give him a pat on the back or he will keep telling you the same thing! Kind of like many of us!!
No broken or cracked plastic.The ON/OFF switch on the back works, as does the yellow "talk" button on the front. The friction drive works smoothly, and the rubber wheels are not chipped or damage. Clean battery box as shown. No rust. Normal paint rubs, scratches, crazing as shown.
Clearly this is one of the more interesting of the Japanese battery robots. Most of these do not talk, so this one is worth considering.
