Here is a rare original 1970s JOHN DEERE 20\" boys muscle bike (1181484 Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike is in very original condition. In fact, as far as I can tell, nearly every single part of this bike is original. This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it!
*The bike is in the original and very appealing YELLOW factory painted color. The bike has cool wide apehanger handlebars, matching hand grips, cool rear sissy bar unique embossed JOHN DEERE long banana seat, (ripped) 3-piece cranks, cool pedals, and so much more ! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! The bike is an original single speed with operable brakes. This one has cool raised center chrome rims front and rear with a Nosk? rear hub. Both tires do hold air. Check out the WIDE rear SLICK tire! (love those!) I believe this bike to be mostly all original parts form when ti was new. (see pics and be your own judge) Funny side note, this one was owned by a kid named Kevin Kolb from New Berlin Wisconsin! (I assume this did not belong to the NFL Quarterback! lol!)
*Every once in a while you will see a Schwinn Stingray muscle bike. You almost NEVER see these John Deere bikes! A great bike for the vintage bike collector who wants to own something a little different than everyone else, a person who love John Deere Farm collectibles, etc! This is very unique! I have had hundreds and hundreds of old bikes and this is the very first one of these I have had to offer! I hope you enjoy it!
*Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out , the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.
*NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is ok! The paint looks ok for a 40+ year old boys bike! (has chips scratches etc) The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. The chain ring has a dent. If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you offer.
*Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. This awesome ride starts low with ABSOLUTELY so offer early and don\'t miss out! This will sell to the high buyer! Sorry, no buy it now is offered. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! Sold as is because it is used. I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.
*SHIPPING TIME I ship bikes on Tuesdays and Fridays via Fed Ex. Generally, if I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Monday, it allows me enough time to get your bike to the shop for packing and to ship along with the Tuesday AM shipment. If I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Thursday, it gives enough time to have it packed and ship Friday AM. If paid after that time, please expect it to go out with the next shipment.
*SHIPPING COSTS: Fed Ex, USPS, as well as UPS have recently raised their shipping rates due to the higher cost of fuel. Sorry for the slight increase in shipping costs.
