The large bolsters make it difficult to photograph the dots but rest assured there are exactly 8. This beauty has spent the past 2 score (40 years) in my possession along with 2 others just like it. Now it’s time to let someone else be its caretaker for the next 40 years, so here it is. This piece has Dark Red Bone handles (not Delrin) that are flawless, no chips or cracks. Both flat grind blades show the factory edge and original luster without the Indian in Canoe etching dominating the master (that etching didn’t begin until late 1974). Both blades are factory tight, not a bit of play or wobble, no spots, no pits, and no major scratches, just a minor blade rub or 2. This is a dandy folks, it’s as good as brand new, and it would look great in any collection, so offer to win.
