1972 Open Class Racer with Jan Limpach \"888\" Chassis
The \"888\" chassis made it to the Main in the 1972 NATS...no small feat!I built this is a beautiful racer with the famous Jan Limpach \"888\" chassis and period correct parts. You can see examples of my other vintage slot car builds on my sub-forum \"The DC 65X Diaries\" on the slot car forum \"Slotblog\".

All the parts are vintage new old stock except for the chassis which is in excellent used condition.

The body is a Lancer Porsche Roadster with an Associated \"laid back\" driver figure, both painted by Noose Custom Painting.

The motor is a Mura 2-hole C-can setup with a single 24 open armature marked \"24 CCW\" as shown in the pictures. The magnets are Champion White Dots and the motor is topped off with a machined aluminum \"comm cooler\".

The gears are vintage 64 pitch Fass. The rear wheels are Parma \"telescoping\" and the fronts are hard vinyl Cobras.

I have tried to take very clear pictures so youwill know what you are offerding on. I will be happy to answer any questions andthank you for looking.
