Easily one of the nicestall original Macs and original box you will find now 30+ years later. Fully serviced, tested, and detailed. Complete in #\'s matching factory original box, same serial # on both the Mac and the original serial # label on the box! Mac is early, week 17 of 1984 production with original matching keyboard and mouse it came with from the factory, plus rare original Macintosh Picasso accessory kit with original early Mac disks, original Mac user manual, rare original Packing List, sealed original Apple rainbow stickers plus other original Mac accessories!
This is a rare NON-upgraded original 128K RAM Mac with the original non-modified motherboard and original 400K Sony single-sided disk drive inside! (Upgrades to these 128K Macs to 512K RAM motherboards and higher capacity disk drives were very common once upgrades became available, however the internal upgrades were often not noted on the outer case. Other Macs you will see may still have the original case labels/emblems but that does not guarantee that they still have the original non-modified 128K board and single-sided drive inside, which is where much of the collector value lies now 30 years later). This is a non-upgraded REAL 128K Mac with the original motherboard as shown, not an upgraded Mac in an M0001 case. When a Mac was upgraded officially by Apple the 128K board was removed and swapped out for a new 512K board, so the original board was lost forever! Non-official memoryupgrades made modifications to the original board thereby taking away originality and value. This original Mac is as it came from Apple in early 1984!This Macintosh has just been freshly serviced and tested, extremely nice clean cosmetic condition, true collector-quality. I have offered original Macintosh 128K sets like this on for10+ yearswith satisfiedbuyers from all over the world! Feel free to review my selling response, seller star ratings and seller status. I will provide assistance after the sale if needed as you get started with your new Macintosh. I have been a continuously active member and under this same account since 1999 so you know I\'ll be here if you needyour Macserviced in the future, or want to buy original accessories and software for your Mac in the years to come! The original Macintosh was the first affordable personal computer to use a mouse and a Graphical User Interface with desktop icons. Celebrate this 30th Anniversary of Macintosh by adding this complete original and Boxed non-upgraded Model M0001 1984 system to your collection! All photos are of the exact items you will receive. Serial # of this Macintosh indicates week 17 of 1984 production, which was in April, the Mac had just been introduced in late January. Serial # begins with F417 which quickly translates as: F= Freemont, CA production plant, 4= 1984, 17= 17th week of year. Has original \'Macintosh\' emblem on back (very late 1984 production units wore a revised \'Macintosh 128k\' emblemstarting aroundweek 48). Original matching keyboard and mouse that came with this system, mouse is week 16, and keyboard week 17 of 1984 serial #\'s as they are the originals that came with this Mac! Mac mice and keyboards were made at a different plant, then paired with Macs for packing, so they will always be from right around the same timeframe of production as the Mac if they are the originals. A matching original set that has been kept together for thirty years like this is of course more desirable and collectible than sets pieced together from mismatched components.Everything is extremely clean, detailed, and properly functioning. I test every Mac I offer over a period of one week minimum after I service, so you know you will receive a reliable system that has been tested beyond just turning on for a quick sale photo then may burn out or not run once powered on for an extended period, which can be very common on these older machines.
This Mac comes in the niceoriginal matching #\'s Apple retail box, with original internal top and bottom Styrofoam packing, Styrofoam holders for both keyboard and mouse, and both are in the original Picasso cardboard sleeves, and the rare original white Picasso accessory kit box! Original Macintosh manual, Picasso packing list, Guided Tour cassette, programmer\'s switch, and set of genuine original Apple Mac software disks from early 1984! ThisMacintosh has just been freshly serviced inside, fully tested, display adjusted to proper factory specs, and is in extremely nice hard-to-find cosmetic condition.
This original 1984 Mac M0001 is shown to be in the ORIGNAL matching #\'s box it came in from Apple, and shown to still have the original non-upgraded 128K motherboard, and original matching keyboard and mouse! Don\'tsettle for setspieced together from mismatched hardware or that don\'t show serial # label on box or components,or show no proof the Mac offered still is in fact a non-upgraded 128K machine inside, The original serial # label must still be on the box and # must match the Mac it is being sold with if the box is the original. A non-upgradedmatching original box set like this is much more collectible and valuable now. This is a beautiful original complete 1984 Macintosh M0001 boxed matching system including:
Macintosh system unit- (Model M0001)- Beautiful original condition, very nice and clean, not yellowed, cracked or pried apart like many of these are. Original factory motherboard with 128K RAM memory and original early Version A Mac ROM set, 1983 copyright date with early style ceramic CPU! Mac is the original beige/cream color, not heavily yellowed or discolored and marked up like many of these are now. No markings or engravings, no stickers or outlines, no missing or broken parts, and absolutely NO ugly pry marks to the case seams as this Mac was never opened improperly with the wrong tools like many were, which greatly detracts from the value. No corrosion to PRAM battery compartment like many have from old batteries left in which leak and can cause internal damage. Inside of case is incredibly clean from being stored properly, this system obviously has been very well cared over the years. Rear case of course has the molded signatures of Steve Jobs and the original Mac design team as shown, like all original Macs have.Original Sony 400K Internal Disk Drive- Freshly serviced- cleaned, lubed, and tested! I thoroughly clean then lubricate the disk insert and eject mechanism so disks go in and out smoothly just like new again! If you risk buying a non-serviced Mac of this age the drive will be unreliable and in need of proper service, or may be defective and need replaced. I also clean the drive head so disks read smoothly. These original Macs are totally dependent on the floppy drive as there is no hard drive, so having a freshly serviced and tested working drive is essential if you plan to actually use and enjoy your Mac. Original 1984 Apple Macintosh keyboard- (Model # M0110) with original curled flexible keyboard cable. Original keyboard that came with this Mac in the original Picasso sleeve and foam holder. Picasso cardboard sleeve edges are crisp and nice unlike others that are worn and torn. Week 17 of 1984 production from the serial # starting with G417 (4=1984, 17=week 17). Cable is tightly coiled and not all stretched out like ones that were heavily used. All keys are clean and work, great condition, no dust or dirt between keys, fully detailed and every key tested working!Original 1984 Apple Macintosh one-button mouse- (Model # M0100) Has original square style connector with thumb screws to attach securely to the Mac. Original mouse that came with this Mac in the original Picasso sleeve and foam holder. Week 16 of 1984 production from the serial # starting with G416 (4=1984, 16=week 16). Clean, tested, and working perfectly. I even remove and clean the mouse roller ball to make sure it rolls smoothly as new!Original Picasso Mac Accessory Kit- RARE original Mac white plastic Picasso Accessory Kit box, nice original color, not all yellowed or damaged, NO cracks to any corners unlike many of these are now. Includes genuine original Apple 1984 400K floppy disks- the original Macintosh System early Version A disk with January 1984 Finder, and A Guided Tour of Macintosh, alsoVersion A, disk with very early and rare December 1983 Finder! Disks made after May 1984 will have Finder 1.1, not these early 1984 original Finder versions. Set willalso includeplain label user copies of MacPaint and MacWrite software on fresh 400K disks. Original disks tested and boot right up and run like new! Original Apple logo right angle head power cord, Macintosh programmer\'s switch, Mac Guided Tour audio cassette in Picasso case, the two original unused Apple blank disk labels, the original SEALED set of four Apple rainbow logo stickers (2 large and 2 small), and the original rare Picasso original Mac packing list fold-out brochure! Macintosh 1984 User\'s Manual- 1984 full-color spiral bound 164 pg. original Macintosh User Manual in very nice clean condition! No writing or markings at all inside, clean cover, very crisp and clean with all pages secure and unmarked, very nice! High-quality manual, very nice. Plus...Original #\'s Matching Apple Picasso Retail Box!- Matching week 17 of 1984 Serial # to the Mac! Includes both original top and bottom white Styrofoam packing pieces, top one has embossed Apple logo. Original keyboard and mouse boxes with white Picasso sleeves. Box is very nice clean and solid condition, not all discolored, re-taped over, falling apart, smashed, ormarked up with writing or old labels, etc.like many of these boxesare. Some staining on the inside of the top flaps, looks like something was spilled on them at one time but contents undamaged, and boxinterior of course not seen when box is outon display. Otherwise no markings or damage, just one partially torn handle on one side of box, other handle is still solid as shown. Consider that most of these thirty year old boxes are long gone, or many are in very poor condition now, this one easilystands out as one of the nicest you will find. The box has the original serial # label on the side, which matches the original serial # label on the Mac as shown! Also, see photo of box inside bottom flap with original box printed production code of \'3-84\' indicating March 1984 manufacture of the box, which is appropriate given this Mac was manufactured and shipped in April 1984.
This is a very rare complete matching boxed original non-upgraded 128K Macintosh 1984 collector-quality set.
