This tobacco box is without a doubt, a rare find. It is marked on the bottom with the Conta Boehme factory mark \"shield & arm holding a dagger\" and numbered. It is most likely an early piece about circa 1850\'s. Amazingly, it has survived all this time without one crack or chip, and there are no repairs. The paint is fantastic with no losses and noticing how lifelike the doll looks. The only thing to mention would be the obvious gold leaf loss on the highchair.
