Two wonderful EARLY porcelain models of Mickey Mouse playing instruments. These both have the original \'pointy faces\' and I believe they date to somewhere around the 1930s. They are marked \'FOREIGN\' on the base of each and they do have their original corks still in place (I have not tried to remove them for fear they would fall to pieces).

Both of these have 5 holes in the head, so it is possible they are BOTH PEPPER POTS (although I am unsure if salt pots from this period would have had just 1 hole like modern saltsor not, but they are perfectly usable as a salt& pepper anyway). So, I am declaring theymay beeither asalt & pepper or 2 pepper pots.

SIZE - Pictures are MAGNIFIED to show detail, so please judge sizeby measurements as these may look a littlelarger than they actuallyareMickeythe DRUMMERmeasuresapproximately 3 inches (7.5cms) in height.Mickey playing the CELLO is a tinyfraction smaller at 2 7/8 inches (7.2cms) in height.

CONDITION IS GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION,but withPAINTLOSS in places - PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES. The nose on the DRUMMER is quite rough, but appears to have been painted over (the ORIGINAL paint I believe). The nose on the CELLO PLAYER has lost nearly all its paint, but is smooth.
