2 Reproduction Bru Millettes and 1 EJRepro Head

This sale is for two 10” beautifully-made antique reproduction dolls and one reproduction head.

IMPORTANT:

1 – I am only selling this batch of sales to buyers in the USA and Canada. I\'m sorry! I rarely sell anymore and I have had too many problems with international shipping.2 - Please read the full description below. I am a private collector, and I do not offer returns.

The sale includes the following:

1 – A gorgeous, little Bru Jne 9 reproduction doll made by talented doll artists Bill and Carol Parrish. The back of her neck is signed “CP2012” for Carol Parish, made in 2012. The back of the neck is marked bru 9 for the model information. I bought this head and body on from Bill and Carol for $160. This little Millete is 10” tall. She had originally hair glued to her pate. I cut that off and added a wig.

The doll has brown glass eyes and detailed eyelashes and brows. She has a particularly fine joined composition body with porcelain forearms. She has pomegranite beaded earrings. Her face has the pale complexition and pale lips that is correct from this early Bru design. She has a blonde mohair wig that is not glued down.

She is beautifully made, but has minor flaws and could use a light cleaning. Note the following condition specifics:

* There are tiny chips right at the neckline on the body. See picture. There is also a tiny black spot just below the lower jaw on the side .

* The body is strung alittle too tightly for the legs. I have to fight with the legs to get them into posing position, but once the doll is posed, she holds the pose.

* The pate on her head is abit shallow. You might want to pad the inside of wig to add some height to the head. But, the pictures have no padding in the wig, so that\'s not required.

* The wig is abit mussed and was badly trimmed in spots, but it looks charming. I think a doll of this quality deserves a better wig, but this is what I have .

As a bonus, I\'m including an ivory teddy trimmed with lace as shown on her in one of the pictures. The lace trip is perfect coverage for the tiny chipping at the neck area.

2 – The sale also includes a lovely little 10” Bru Jne millette. She was made by reproduction artist, Mary Brouse. The back of her neck is signed Mbrouse. She has porcelain head, arms, upper chest and lower legs. And, she has a lovely, beautifully-made leather body.

She has large blue glass eyes with detailed eyelashes, dark blonde eyebrows, lovely blush and pale painted lips. She has holes for earrings, but no earrings. She is beautifully painted with lovely blushing details on arms, chest and legs. She has blonde hair.

This is a lovely doll with a few minor condition flaws. Note the following specifics:

* Her hair looks cute, but it\'s not a real wig. It\'s actually a skein of hair pulled back into a ponytail, not a full wig. This hair piece is glued to the doll\'s pate. If I were going to replace it, I would probably give her a crew cut and put a new wig on top of that.

* Her head was wobbling at the neck, so I glued the neck to the body. So, the head is motionless and there\'s a small glue line visible where neck meets body. See pictures.

3 – The sale includes a head and wig to make a lovely little EJ Jumeu milette. The back of neck is marked E J for the Jumeau EJ model head. The back of the head is also marked 1999 SCS, which is probably when the reproduction artist made the head and signed their initials, but I\'m not sure.

The head has blue glass eyes, detailed eyelashes, charming blush and beautifully painted lips and brown eyebrows. She has holes for adding earrings. She needs a “FB550S” model composition doll body. This is a 5.5” inch body that can be bought from doll stores such as the online New York Doll Products store. The head is 2” tall, so would make a finished doll about 7.5” tall.

The head is missing a pate to cover the back of the head, but you\'d need to add the body anyway before adding a pate. The head is stuffed with tissues for now. As shown in the pictures.

Also, the head does not have a hook that will be needed to join the head to a body. You\'ll need to get and add a hook and add the body before you glue the pate on. I see listings such as “neck button with hook” selling on for a couple dollars. Measure the neck size and match that to the neck button size.

The sale includes a lovely long red mohair wig as shown. The wig was originally in two braids, but I brushed it out to straight, long hair.

As a bonus, I\'m including a lovely lace shift that I was saving to dress this doll. The shift is 4.5” inch long with detailed lace. It\'s in beautiful condition

The sale does not include doll stands. My home is smoke-free, but I have a kitty.
