I am pleased to offer you this \"handsome\" antique reproduction of 1911 K * R Simon Halbig character mold 115/A doll. Incised on the back of the head is \"K * R Simon & Halbig, an S 115/A with 60\" down below the neck. From a doll estate I do not know the past history or artist, but will try to describe the best I can. This reproduction measures 20\" tall being a bisque porcelain socket head, newer composition seeley \"type\" body jointed at the shoulders, elbows, legs, and knees with all fingers intact and strung fine. A wonderful face with Stationary \"stay open\" blue glass eyes, painted black lashes around his eyes, feathered brown brows, there are red accent dots in the nostrils, he has closed lips almost a little down turn smile. Faint little double chin and wonderful blush on this \"perfect\" face. There is a pate on the head which wig is glued attached. Wears turn of the Century vintage style clothing with knickers, vest, shirt, undies, stockings, shoes and hat. Clothing like this doll is \"charming\" and in great condition I see no damage. This reproduction doll is excellent quality, close resemblance to the antique German character mold 115/A as you will find, and would be a \"Treasure\" for collection, display or GIFT!
