"Avengers, Assemble!" The New Zealand Mint has released a $2 Avengers themed 4-coin set of Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America colorized silver coins. Each 1 oz .999 silver coin comes in a plastic capsule with a specially designed pin bearing a symbol representing the hero. With every coin is also a lifelike, four-color character bio card printed in state-of-the-art 3D, as well as a solid, die-cut stainless steel certificate of authenticity. Each coin, along with its pin, 3D character bio card, and COA,comes in its own tin box. Each side of the box displays beautiful artwork of the 4 heroes, and on the lid of the box is an image of hero on the coin inside, along with his name.

Also known as "Earth's Mightiest Heroes," the Avengers is a team of superheroes such as the four in this set, who have banded together in order to fight "The foes no singlesuperhero can withstand." The Avengers debuted in September 1963 in their first comic, The Avengers #1, using characters and a story created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Since then, the team hasbecome a massive success. These four 2014 1 oz colorized silver coins have been proof struck by the New Zealand Mint. They are legal tender of Australia, with a denomination of $2. The 4 boxes actually come inside of a Marvel Avengers lunchbox. This lunchbox has high quality artwork on the outside, as well as on the inside. An image of the 4 heroes is shown on the lid of the lunchbox, showing them ready for action. Around the box is their "A" Avengers emblem, and drawings of the 4 heroes are displayed on the inside of the lunchbox as a pattern.

The 4-coin set comes with 4 different colorized designs: Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America. These designs are displayed on the reverse of the coins. On each of these designs is the inscription "1 ounce .999 FINE SILVER ©MARVEL," as well as a colorized image of the Marvel logo.

The Hulk design is an image of the Hulk smashing though a wall, looking very angry! Behind him can be seen a gaping hole, with debris falling down after him. On the coin isthe description: "THE INCREDIBLE AVENGER" as well as some colorized text reading "HULK."

The Iron Man design shows Iron Man flying and raising his hand, ready to fire a repulsor beam from his palm. Underneath him can be seen the earth, showing that he must be high in the atmosphere. Above him on the coin is inscribed "THE ARMORED AVENGER" as well as colorized text reading "IRON MAN."

The Thor design displays an image of Thor, throwing his mighty hammer Mjolnir towards the viewer, cape billowing behind him. Lightening is shown emanating from the hammer.Inscribed above him are the words "THE MIGHTY AVENGER," along with the colorized text "THOR."

The obverse of these coins is graced by a portrait of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Contact and Communication

A lost or missing coin Affidavit MUST be singed, notarized, and mailed to us before we can refund or replace your order - NO EXCEPTIONS. We are no longer responsible for any order where the tracking information is marked as DELIVERED - we are unable to file a claim on any order marked as delivered, you will need to contact your local postal carrier's office in order to seek resolution.

Missing or Wrong Item in Order
