Important Update - Most New boards are R2 and do not have Molex Power Connections, instead they have screw terminals. See the last four pictures of the new boards. The newer boards are more stable and more reliable. For the most part they are all mixed together so you will not be able to pick and choose. Requirements to operate miner

• Power Source, requires one 12v line and one ground. Wires should be 16 to 18 AWG. You can cut them from Molex, Sata, PCI-E, and CPU Lines, do not use from motherboard connector. Make sure to take proper electrical precaution such that you do not harm yourself or cause a fire.
• 12v Goes on the outside of the board, ground goes towards the inside.
• Computer host to control the miner via USB interface, such as a windows PC, linux PC, raspberry pi, or for advanced users TPLink routers
• USB Port on computer host or hub
