Complete Working System with Keyboard, Mouse and connecting cords.A solid performing computer in excellent working condition. Thoroughly cleaned serviced and tested, including the keyboard and mouse. Configured with 12MB of Memory, 160MB hard Drive, Double Speed CD-ROM, 1.44 HD Floppy Disk Drive and a 10Base-T Ethernet card. The 550 is configured with the highly sought after Motherboard which includes a 68030 33 MHz Motorola Processor, the same as the Color Classic II.
Color Classic owners can install the 550 motherboard in their Color Classic and get Color Classic II performance instantly.
Since many of the LC and Performa 550's were sacrificed for their motherboards it's almost impossible to find a working survivor. Additional features include a brilliant fourteen inch Sony Trinitron display, internal working mic, SCSI port for upto seven external devices, serial ports for modem and printer and two ADB ports.This 550 has aged well with fair amount of yellowing. After reassembly the top two case screws would not tighten, they are present but not tight. The case does have some minor dings and scratches. A small chip on the top left corner. The rear I/O cover has one tab missing. However it is attached firmly with screws. The front bezel has some missing tabs/clips. The bezel doesn't attach firmly. It will stay on but can easily be removed with a small tug or pull. The Sony Trinitron CRT isbright, stableandverysharp.The floppy disk drive reads, writes and ejects flawlessly. Boots with a strong chime and quickly loads the desktop. The sound works great.
Also includes anew clock battery already installed. Software loaded on the hard drive includes a fresh install of System 7.5, Microsoft Word, Claris Works and After Dark. Please email any ?'s
