This is Apple’s famous color compact Macintosh UPGRADED!!!! The original Apple Macintosh Color Classic was radically different compared to it\'s predecessors, and yet it was largely underpowered, similar to the Macintosh 128k. The result was a very-very slow computer, which left people wanting more from their new machines. Enter the Color Classic \"Mystic\" upgrade.

\"Mystic\" was Apple\'s code name for the Color Classic III, which never saw production as it was canceled. The Mystic upgrade was a slot-in replacement of the original Color Classic mother board for a Macintosh LC575 logic board. This gave the Color Classic faster performance due to the 33Mhz Motorola 68LC040 processor and support for up to 68 MB of RAM.This upgrade drastically improved the Color Classic performance and abilities for the time. The added functionality of network connectivity was also a great addition to the computer.

This Mystic upgraded CC has been cleaned inside and out. We have tested it for functionality. Everything is working. A lot of the units you see online have components that are non working. Not this one!!!! A new lithium battery was recently installed. The hard drive has been re-formatted and System 7.5 installed. The floppy disk drive has also been cleaned and tested for guaranteed operation. The screen is in excellent shape, no scratches or screen burn.

The Apple300 CD-ROM Drive is a cartridge based system. You have to load the cd into the protective sleeve before the drive will accept it. We are providing one of these cartridges in the package.

Comes with an External SCSI AppleCD 300CD-Rom Drive, the cartridge for loading CD\'s, Apple Standard Keyboard (M0116) and Apple Desktop Bus Mouse II (M2706). All the peripherals are working and have been fully tested for functionality.
