This sale is for a vintage Commodore 128 home computer w/ an 8-pin DIN IEEE-488/IEC cable. It\'s almost summer time here in the USA and you know what that means; sunshine and long walks on the beach! But wait! You forgot to put on sunscreen and that pasty-white winter skin of yours isn\'t ready to absorb all that VITAMIN D. Now your skin is rosier than a Red Delicious apple and you know your friends & family are going to make fun of you. You sure wish you had something who understood your pain and embarrassment. Well search no longer! This Commodore 128 has received at least 25 yearsof unadulterated, brutal sun! Its once-white plastic has certainly earned its uneven, golden-brown color after baking for so long. It\'s even been gifted withawkward white spaces where the keys blocked the sun, just like those unsightly tan lines that have punished you for wearing sunglasses for longer than an hour. Yes, this incredible, life-changing, one-of-a-kind item can be all yours!
The unit is untested.I do not have a Commodore 128 power supply so I have no way to verify functionality. Due to this it is being sold completely AS-IS.
Besides the yellowing, the unit is in good condition.There is some minor dust/dirt between the keys and a couple dark surface marks on the case. There are no cracks, deep scratches or other issues with the case. The connectors look like they\'re in good condition with very little signs of use.
I am also including the original white 8-pin DIN IEEE-488/IEC serial cable. This should allow you to easily hook up floppy drives like the 1541 or 1571 to the computer. The white cables are very uncommon compared to the black ones, and it\'s a perfect addition to a white/beige C128 set-up after...you know... you bleach the living daylight(literally)out the computer\'s case!
Iguaranteethat if you carry this Commodore 128 in public, it will get more attention than that peeling skin on the back of your neck!
