4k HDMI Dummy plug maximum resolution 3840 x 2160 works with hot plug detection meaning as soon as you plug it in to your computer the adaptor will be detected as a monitor.. Multiple plugs can be used in different ports to emulate multiple screens connected to the HDMI ports and or DVI ports.

This HDMI plug can be used with a DVI adaptor (not included). If your graphics card is capable of 4k (3840 x 2160) this will be the maximum resolution available plus more resolutions will be available. (please see images)

The screen-shots in the listing were taken using windows 7 and Ubuntu 15.04 using a Nvidia GTX980 card.(capable of 4k resolutions).

The Dummy plug will work with all graphics cards or motherboards HDMI ports (if you can connect a monitor to your port this will work to emulate a monitor).
