Yes. I think you are asking:
Will it work with an adapter/ converter that has a mini HDMI (male) and a HDMI (female) connected together? Yes
Will it work with a cable that plugs into mini DP and has a Female HDMI socket? Yes
We have tested our Dummy Plugs on a MAC mini. They work in the HDMI socket or through a cable to the mini DP socket.
