I bought this computer new on 9/25/1991. I also ordered an extra battery, the grand total came to $1,985.00! It did last me through my undergraduate studies.
The computer is NOT WORKING! I did turn it on 3 years ago, at the time it showed a hard drive error. Now, it will not turn on, perhaps the batteries are too short circuited or something is wrong with the power supply/brick. The green light turn on solid and the amber light blinks on the power supply, the computer does not do anything. I bought it in Florida, but it has been stored in dry Colorado for the last 15 years. Aside from what is listed above, the computer and equipment is in very good condition, it was never abused.
I have the original box, purchase receipts, MS DOS 5.0 diskettes, power supply/brick, two original batteries, and the vintage Logitech mouse I used.
I am hoping that someone has some use for it. This is a good candidate for repair since it has all the original items (including the box) with it. I have also seen a computer very much like this glued to a restaurant wall as decoration (I think it is in my local TGIF).
NOTE: The computer is ready to ship, however I am in and out of town this month. If you happen to buy it when I am out of town, I will send you an e-mail stating when I will be able to ship it.
