This is a Rare find that I have had in storage for 33 years.
While attending Oregon State University, I wanted a Macintosh computer but could not affordable one. One of the local computer shops off campus had a couple extra posters and sold one to a friend, who gave it to me as a present. It was printed on very heavy paper and it is stunning. I never had the nerve to hang it on the wall but carefully store in in a large flat Kodak film box over the decades. It has never been exposed to sunlight or framed. Comes from a clean non-smoker\'s home.
John Casado and Tom Hughes, who were art directors on the original Macintosh development team, designed the so-called Picasso logo. Tasked with finding an appropriately winsome and approachable logo for the Macintosh, Casado and Hughes drew inspiration from the line drawings of one of Picasso’s contemporaries: “The inspiration for the drawing style was Matisse, whom I so admired as an artist,” Casado tells Adam Rosen at Cult of Mac. “The idea of the graphics being ‘Picasso style’ was, as I remember, a journalist’s description at the time of the launch. I think since no one ever asked me or Tom where the influence came from, it became fact.”Apple saw as the embodiment of what the Macintosh offered consumers: a vision of style, subtlety, and friendliness that was a marked departure from any other computing experience available to users at the time. This poster is a must for any Apple collector.

The condition is excellent for its age.
It has been stored in a clean, non smoker\'s home over the years. It rarely sees daylight but to look at once in awhile in admiration and stored back in the box.
There are a few faint gentle creases that are hard to see and a couple faint dark smudges at the top of the posted. All the minor flaws have been photographs. The poster has never been rolled and only stored flat. I will be purchasing a quality mailing tube for shipment of the poster.
