Rare Amstrad PC-20 Upgraded to 1GB Hard Drive and Internet CapabilitiesThe PC-20 is a rare and collectable computer. It is the American version of the Sinclair C200 manufactured in Britain. It was an XT with 512K memory and used the GEM3 graphical interface, windows and all. It used CGA video which was one of the reasons it never sold over here as this was the time the Amiga was rolling with much better graphics and sound. The result is that they are rare and unique. This has 2 8-Bit slots (1 is being used now) so one could add a card to expand the unit. There are DIP switches inside, if you want to add a VGA Monitor card, you will have to change the DIP switches to allow for External Video.This unit has been refurbished as well as Upgraded to include an internal CF-Card ONE GIGABYTE!!! I know compared to today\'s technology, 1GB is nothing. But for this beauty, it\'s a TON of storage. I have installed an IDE Interface added along with a CF-Card reader (IDE). Installed on the CF Card is DOS 6.22. As you can see, I have attached an Xircom PE2-10BT Parallel Port Ethernet Adaptor. This gives this beauty the capability to access the Internet via Telnet. You can surf to Telnet BBS\'s (Like mine, Quazarbbs.com). The Xircom PE2-10BT is NOT NOT NOT included! The CGA Monitor is NOT NOT NOT Included. If you need a CGA Monitor, Check my other listings, I am selling a Tandy CGA Monitor.You could also connect an Iomega Parallel Port 100Mb ZIP drive to the printer port. The software to access that is in c:\\PE. On my Kaypro 16 I have, I have a ZIP drive connected to the PC, and then the Xircom connected to the Zip drive, so I can use both.I\'ve dumped a lot of time and money into this, but I am selling it for probably below my costs.
