**FULLY TESTED!!!**
The first thing you mightnotice about the TI-99/4A version of Miner2049er is its weird cartridge shape. This is due to thefact that it plugs into the system\'s expansion port (where the SpeechSynthesizer plugs into) instead of the normal cartridge port. Mostlikely Tigervision did this because TI would not license outits GROM chips to many 3rd party developers. The GROM chip allowed forgreater amounts of memory to be put onto a single cartridge, andwithoutthe chip you were limited to 8K of ROM. Therefore, in order to fit Miner 2049er onto a cartridgeTigervision made it plug into the expansion port, which allowed formore memory than standard cartridges. Miner 2049er won a number of awards back inthe 80\'s for its addictive game play and unique concept. Three of theawards it won were the \"1984 Electronic Game of the Year\" (ElectronicGames Magazine), \"1984 Outstanding Software Award\" (CreativeComputing), and \"1983 Best Seller Award\" (Softsel).
