Texas Instruments TI-99/4a System + Expansion Syst Lots More Must Read
Price: US $265.00
This is a vintage Texas Instruments TI-99/4a computer.
*** PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION ***
I will list what is included below (and it is a long list), but let me mention a few things first.
As with all of our vintage electronics, this is being sold As-Is, without warranty, no returns.
The computer itself turns on and works. I played with it this afternoon and everything seemed to work well (although I am not an expert). When I tried to hook it up again a little bit ago I snapped one of the connectors off the video modulator (see picture). So the connection wasn\'t very good after that. It still worked, but blurry. If you look at the picture of the Donkey Kong game, that was this afternoon (seemed pretty clear) the next picture of the screen is after the snapped connector. You can see it is a lot more fuzzy. I don\'t know how to test the expansion system. It has three cards inside of it. I did plug it into the power outlet and the light on the front came on and it makes a whirring noise inside, so I assume it works ... but the expansion system is being sold untested. I also couldn\'t get the side door/flap to \"lock\" into place. I may just not have it adjusted right, but it didn\'t want to stay in place.I did NOT test all the games and software. I tried about 5 games or so. A couple worked, one did not work, and one tried to work, but seemed to crash while loading. So I am selling on these games and software with it, but I have no idea if they work, or if all the disks are there. So the games/software items are being sold untested.
