COMPAQ SLT 286 PORTABLE as is not working
The computer turns on and following message appears: \'\' System Option Not Set - (Run Setup) - Insert DIAGNOSTIC diskette in Drive A: \'\'The technicianssaythe problem is caused by the component Dallas DS1287 battery / real-time clockComponent that I bought (2 pieces) and will be sent together with the laptop (VIEW PHOTOS)
The technicianssay it repairs by replacing that piece,but is sold as is not working,I have neither time nor desire to get it fixed.IT WOULD HAVE WINDOWS 2.1 AS OPERATING SYSTEM
Sometimes it does not charge the battery
