Most beautiful rustic collectible and historical postal bag. The history of this bag is rather mysterious. The bag was possibly used by a US Mail service operator delivering mails to soldiers deployed overseas. The strap is marked with, \"Property of US Navy\". and written in original style and font that are used by the Postal Service to mark on all of their original vintage straps. This usable and rare vintage bag deserve to be a show piece in an high end designer leather bag boutique shop. The condition of the bag is amazing for how old it is. Some surface crackings to the leather are expected. Front of the bag was carved with \"Harlan\". All hardware has darkened and look beautifully rustic. Front single strap has crackings to the top surface layer. This is a true keepsake piece.
