For sale is a must have computer to add to your collection! It is custom built AMD 386 DX @ 40Mhz Mini Tower Computer! (Note: This sale is for the computer only and one power cord! No monitor, keyboard, or mouse is included!) The monitor pictured above was used for testing purposes only and is not included! This computer boots well and has a shareware program: Wolfenstein 3D Spear of Destiny!!! It has Dos 6.2. It has a 300MB hard drive. It runs really well and boots quick!
Overall, the condition of this vintage computer is great for its age as can be seen in the pictures above. There are some normal scratches and nicks as can be seen in the pictures above. Both the 3.5\" 1.44MB and 5.25\" 1.2MB drives reads and writes well and have been cleaned! The built-in PC speaker works well. The CMOS clock battery has just been replaced with a new matchingrechargeablebattery. (This make life so much easier and saves the BIOS settings for the hard & floppy drive and more so that you don\'t have to configure these settings every time you power on the computer just to boot!)
This computer has a total of 8MB RAM which is great for running your old games! What is also great is this 386 has a VGA video out! It is a Trident TVGA BIOS Video Card with 256k of video ram. This computer is also equipped with a 250 Watt Power Supply that is can be switched to 230 volt!
The BIOS is a 1991 version of AMIBIOS.
Note: There are OS disks in a anti-static bag inside the computer which is handy (the disks have not been tested and provided as is). So don\'t miss out on this vintage IBM Compatible 386DX 40 today!
