Happy 20th Birthday iMac!If you\'re a fan of Apple Computer and Steve Jobs you\'ll find this first iMac model a rare collectible. The iMac was an important part of Steve\'s creativity and vision that changed computing forever!
As you may know Steve Jobs vision for an all in one Macintosh came to fruition in 1984. Dubbed the \'first affordable home computer\' with a graphical user interface (GUI), the Macintosh 128k was born.
The all in one (AIO) Macintosh computers were successful models long after Steve was fired from Apple Computer in 1985.
Upon his return to Apple Computer in 1997 Steve\'s vision was still the same, AIO closed end-to-end personal computer. Hence the premier release of the 1998 iMac.
For your consideration is a Mint, first iMac model new in open box. This is an early Revision A model which was one of the first to market. Later iMac models that followed were Revision B. This rare beauty comes complete as shown with all peripherals, manuals and software still sealed. Has never been turned on or plugged in.
The Computer is still wrapped in the original Poly bag. The computer battery has been removed, in order to do this I had to carefully remove and re-seal the bag.
Please don\'t hesitate to write me any ?\'s
