This is for a vintage RasterOps 24XLTV 12" NuBus video board compatible with 68K- andPowerPC-based Macs running up to Mac OS 8.1. This was a real beast of a video board in its day. It provides 24bit accelerated QuickDraw graphics and supports output at high resolutions for non-interlaced monitors from 13" to 21" including portrait monitors displaying 16.7 million colors in resolutions from 640x480 to 1152x870. It also supports NTSC and PAL RGB interlaced output for recording gray-scale Mac graphics to video tape. For 24-bit color recording the output can be routed through a RasterOps Video Expander.The board also includes a built-in 24bit frame grabber for video input. This board turned any NuBus based Macintosh into a virtual video studio. The included MediaGrabber software plays live video in a window on the Mac screen allowing the recording of QuickTime movies and still image captures from the live video source. The 24XLTV accepts video from any NTSC, PAL or SECAM source in Composite, S-Video or RGB format such as from video camera, VCR, laserdisc player, cable or broadcast TV (through a tuner). It includes plugins for Photoshop and runs on Mac OS 6 to at least Mac OS 8.1.This board is used, in excellent condition, and was working when pulled from an Apple Macintosh Quadra 950.
