Advantages of Device CALS: If you have a situation where hot desking is being implemented then device CALS can represent by far the best value. For instance you have a centre with 50 PCs but 250 users...you would only need to purchase 50 device CALS but following the USER route you would need to purchase 250. Security wise (and perhaps especially when using RDS/ remote access) device CALS can help ensure a higher level of security for your network.

Pricing: These retail from DELL for the same price as the User style RDS CALs however we have reduced the price here simply to reflect we have more stock of these currently. It is a temporary reduction so if you have an upcoming project now is the time to buy.

Note on Authenticity: You are purchasing a 100% genuine DELL sourced license (printed on a security hologrammed/ watermarked license document with COA) and the product key (contained on the license document) needed to activate/add the 5 additional Devices to your server.

Please be aware that a license is always required even to add additional users (local or remote ones) to an existing server installation - having an activation key is not enough. \'Activation key only\' sales on are against and Microsoft policy. They are illegal (generally pirated from volume license clients) and can easily cease to function on six month or annual audits, leaving you with a non-functioning system and work to redo - and legal license to repurchase. Naturally it would also leave the risk of fines and/or prosecution. It is not uncommon for these type of keys to cease to work after days/weeks/months - so simply a word of warning.
