A superb quality silverplated spirit kettle by Hawkesworth, Eyre & Co. Circa 1890-1900.Magnificent lobed, ovoid form with ebonised handles.Removable securing pins which allow the pot to be filled or poured whilst still upon the stand.A substantial stand with serpentine legs and feet, upon broadly splayed pads. Robust cradle beneath with an ingenious (patented) spirit burner and an integral snuffer. Complete with original wick.Excellent condition. Plate superb and without wear.
