I purchased this lantern about 15 years ago. The condition of the plating wasn\'t great so I decided to have it re-plated. The globe is green over clear as you can see but there is a crack of approximately 4-1/2 inches. This lantern is beautiful and the crack hasn\'t gotten any worse over the years. I am placing a reserve on it due to the cost of re-plating but it is not a huge reserve. I believe that whoever purchases this lantern will be extremely pleased.
