This beautiful ethereal Kirin (Japanese Unicorn) was sculpted, molded, and cast by me. This listing is for one unpainted resin. Please see the last image for a painted example!
Each piece has had a lot of post-casting work, carving away seams and filling in any air pockets of imperfections with matching white epoxy. The pieces measure 6\" (15cm) high and 5\" (13cm) long. These pieces are ready to paint in any kind of acrylic or enamel. They can also be coated in gesso and then painted in oil paint, watercolor, or pastel techniques.

Please note:
Unpainted resins are intended to be finished by the buyer. They are not display-ready. Many have internal steel armatures and as the resin is not completely opaque, this may be visible under the resin surface in places. I use epoxy putty in my refining precess, which can be a different shade of grey or white than the resin. Even in pieces that are uniformly white, they must be given a finishing coat as the resin will yellow with UV exposure. This does not affect the integrity of the material.

If you would like the resin to arrive already finished with a coat of white paint, please let me know and I will be happy to apply a coat at no extra charge.
