You are offerding on a sweet littleArthur L. Walker (A.L. Walker) fly reel. This is the model3with a 13 position ratchet drag.In some literature it is referred to as \"The Catskill\". This little gem is set for right hand wind. It is 2-3/4 inches in diameter and the outside frame width is 1-5/8 inches. The inside spool width is 15/16 of an inch. It weighs 4.7 ounces. Jet black side plates and aluminum rims with many nickel (German) silver parts. The reel is in used but excellent fishing condition. Comes with the original black leatherette case and reel sack stitched with \"The Walker Fly Reel\" that came with the reel.
The back plate is in very good condition with no cracks or chips or issues. The face plate has a hairline crack, which in no way affects the function or durability of the reel. The previous owner glued/fused the crack and then attempted unsuccessfully to polish the plate. There are many fine abrasions from the method he used. However the color does remain shiny and very dark black. I will provide the winner of this reel with the contact information of a gentleman who can provide the correct replacement Walker side plate (with labor) for approximately $200-$250. However the reel is fine the way it is if the intention is to fish with it. I have attempted to capture the detail in my photos. The screws are all in fine shape. The foot is full length and unmolested. The reel has a 13 position ratchet drag and a roller pillar. There are no mechanical issues with this reel and it performs as intended. Perfect for a 4 or 5 weight fly line.
