Up for sale with is an amazing c1900 French 950 above Sterling Grade Solid Silver 4pc Tea and Coffee service which was specially commissioned by Tiffany & Co. The Tea and Coffee Service is absolutely gorgeous with great French form and features solid carved Rosewood handles, which youonly find on the finest examples of thisperiod. The Service is fully marked as seen in the photos, including the Minerva Head mark which denoted 95% Pure Silver, actually finer than Sterling grade Silver as well as the Maker\'s Mark which I believe is forSchweitzer & Fort who would have been commissioned by Tiffany & Co. to make this amazing service. The Set is in very fine condition with no dents, cracks etc, the only thing to point out is the handle on the Coffee Pot has been repaired, as I have tried to show in the photos. The Set also has a nice original owner\'s monogram which reads E.H.D. This incredible service makes for an impressive display and is also quite functional for modern use with the Teapot measuring 7-1/4\" long by 6-3/4\" tall, the Coffee Pot measuring 7-1/4\" tall by 5-1/2\" wide, the Creamer standing 3-3/4\" tall and the Sugar Bowl measuring 5\" wide across the handles. I would like to point out that the Sugar Bowl is lidded, this was usually an expensive upgrade at the time and so often the lids are missing. The Service feels amazing in your hands being nice thick Sterling Silver throughout with a combined total weight of 1454 grams. We are also listing a fine Tiffany & Co. France Sterling Silver Platter Tray from the same Estate collection, they look great together as seen in the last photo but to be clear you are only offerding on the 4pc Tea and Coffee Set in this sale, the Platter Tray is being saleed separately in another of our sales this week.
