An absolutely stunning, and HUGE, blue jay brooch, signed C W C or C C W in a diamond, and marked \"sterling\". Note that this sale is for the BROOCH ONLY; the earrings are listed separately. Anyway - I\'ve never see anything like this before. It is massive, measuring approximately 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches and weighing a whopping 43.8 grams. The inlay is mostly turquoise, with accents of mother of pearl, onyx, and a bit of pink stone for the bird\'s mouth, and as far as I can see it is undamaged (the brooch appears not to have been worn). The stoes have been selected with exquisite attention to color and markings. Just an amazing piece.
