This 7 day listing is for the highly desirable American Flyer #336 Northern with the SUPER MOTOR made from 1953-1956. This engine is the finest example I have seen in over 30 years of collecting. I believe this ULTRA HIGH grade engine to be mint. I put test leads to the tenders axles and the engine ran in both directions. I only ran it a few seconds on my bench. I refuse to put it on a track as the only track I believe it has ever seen is Gilbert\'s test track at the factory if that.. Please see all photos. The photos do not do this engine justice. It is totally original and without a blemish that I can find. It has it\'s cardboard chassis protector that came from the factory as well as the factory tag that says DO NOT ROTATE wheels. Though I cannot find any defects on this engine I should mention that the bell on the boiler front has oxidized and looks like it is turning a little green. This engine has been in storage for many, many years. Think about it. When is the last time you saw a 60 year old engine this nice.
