This sale is for a Pre-War American Flyer No. 1681 O Gauge 2-6-2 Hudson Steam Engine w/ Whistle Tender manufactured between 1936 to 1938. This engine was built to compete with the Lionel 700E Steam Engines of the same time period. In addition you will be offerding on twenty(20) pieces of original four rail track(10 straight/10 curve) which does include the fourth rail to operate the whistle in the tender. Condition of the engine/tender are good however it does show its age and both were serviced and are ready to run. Please note that the operation of the tender and whistle were not tested on the enclosed track. The track has been cleaned however additional work may be needed by new owner to insure correct operation of the whistle in tender. Thanks for looking.
