For sale is a Vintage T.S.& J.D. Negus. Chronometer
This Chronometer is labeled New York and is Numbered 1288. This chronometer has matching numbers on the dial, movement, as well as the rear casing.This Chronometer is believed to have been made in the late 1800s to early 1900s but we are not experts on this matter and that is based off of prior research.
This Chronometer is Vintage and has significant wear from age and storage.
Some of the wear on this chronometer includes some small scratches on the glass, patina and oxidization from age, and one of the hands inside appears to be bent.
We believe that this chronometer was over wound and that is why it is not running anymore. Again, we are not certain exactly what\'s wrong with this item. This chronometer does not come with the wooden box, or the key for winding. Buy With Confidence ! Professional Seller !
