This sale is for a very rare \"Bridal\" model American lyre banjo clock ca 1840. It has white sides and a glilt front.It is 32 inches tall by 11 inches wide. The glass for the bezel is missing. The gilding is in good condition. The finial lookslike a repro. I would say that it was new, but this clock has been hanging in my house for 40 years. The finial should sit on a \"chimney\". I will supply a period one. I think that it should also have a bracket base and I am listing one this week thatis a perfect size. The cast iron weight has pins out the sides and I have no idea why. This is a fantastic clock that needs a littlerestoration.
