Up for sale is this ancient carving. I bought two of these (similar pieces as a set) from a online sale based out of New York, they sold pretty quick on here, so I reached out to the person selling them and bought another. They still have the old catalog numbers on them (I hope this doesn’t hurt the value by having writing on them, but it seems that they wouldn’t have done it if it could hurt the value). It could be rare!!

You get the exact piece in the photo. These are far eastern. They were found in south China, not that far from Nepal. I was able to tour china this summer and I saw antiquities close to this are seldom shipped outside of China, and real ones are incredibly valuable!!! One sale appraisal estimated this piece to be over $1500!!! Others are more conservative, but the potential is there!! An insurance appraisal says that this piece is worth $2500.00!! Don’t pass up this awesome opportunity to own such an item!!! .

Please let me know if you know anything else about it! I am selling it because I am trying to get rid of my Asian antiques collection (I don’t know as much about it as I do western stuff). I’m not sure what it is made out of. Looks like some kind of stone, but may be jade.
