Offered in this sale is a very nice antique hand painted French faience earthenware figure of a hen that I believe dates to the 19th century. It has a blue painted mark on the underside of the base which you can see illustrated in the 2nd image. It measures roughly 3 7/8\" tall x 4\" long x 2 1/8\" wide. The condition is excellent. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or restoration.
