Up for sale is a 1949 John Deere Unstyled Model AR farm tractor. Its serial # is 271217. The tractor is in good running condition. It starts easily and the brakes, clutch, transmission and rear end all work as they should. I am selling this tractor for a friend of mine that has had if for quite a few years. The tires are all good as are the rims with no rust through that I could find. The tractor has a PTO and hydraulics.The tractor has been painted and is an amateur job. There are a few dings and dents and a couple of repairs that I have tried to photograph. the tool box and radiator side extensions will be included and are shown in the photos. I do have the official document from John Deere that states the year model and options. This will be included along with the operators manual. The tractor has been started with 12 volts and the generator is not hooked up and I am not sure it works but it is there. The battery box is not original.
