This sale is for an Rare Chicago original Antique Concert Hand Crank Roller Organ Music Box dating from the late 1800\'s. Also has a plaque on it that states Chicago Music Co. 195-197 Wabash Ave. Chicago as you can see in the photo. I have done some research and called Chicago history museum and they told me the music company was open around 1700\'s to the 1800\'s they said its no longer open and if they found anymore history on it they were going to email it to me. The music box/organ is in very nice original condition and works. It works and sounds great. Comes with one music cob/roller #1135 Has the original hand painted name of the organ on the top of the top. Body is made of oak wood and has wonderful color. Sounds beautiful and is really cool to watch work. The front glass is also original and has no cracks or chips. All the hardware works. Doors open as they should and the piece is very sturdy. Overall condition is very nice for its age. No cracks, no repairs, finish is very nice. There are a few scratches near the hinges as you can see in the photos Top has wear form age as seen in the photos. The metal parts are in good working shape and sounds awesome. Measures approx. 17\" wide by 12 1/4\" by 15\" deep. Weight unpacked is 16 pounds. Also has the original paper directions label on the inside. Very rare item and is a must for any collector.Found safely stored away in my grandmas basement.The glare spots are from the lights reflection and NOT on the actual surface of the item.
