This antique 1860\'s Civil War Era black velvet mourning bonnet is in good condition. It features an iridescent beaded edge, brown cotton lining, two ostrich plumes in the front, a velvet ribbon band around the body of the hat, an iridescent beaded flower in front and black silk ribbon ties. The inside head circumference measures 19\". It sits on the back of the head in this 1860\'s style. The silk ribbon ties show some wear and some fraying. The velvet body of the hat is in really good condition for the age. An original antique bonnet from 1860\'s.
