Here is a nice old pair of 1912 KellyBros mounted, straight shank spurs. These are the # 10 spurs pictured in theKelly Bros catalog. They do have a different rowel but my image isfrom a later catalog -- some spurs were made with a variety of rowels over theyears. I believe these rowels areoriginal to the spurs. Note- one spur is marked Kelly Bros(uneven stamp) and the other KB&P (faint) for the partnership of P.M. Kellyand Clyde Parker, that lasted from 1912-19. These spurs are a perfect match andI believe were made during the transition when older Kelly Bros stock was beingreplaced with the newer KB&P stamped goods. I have seen this on a few pair ofspurs over the years. These were a $4 pair of spurs and the mark wasn’t a bigdeal back then. Study thepictures before offerding, and ask questions if you are unclear about anything. Wedescribed things as best we can but we are not experts in every field. You mayknow more about the item then we do.
