This is an unbelievable and FABULOUStray that Leo Schlesinger manufactured between 1916 and 1919. Called Luna Park, after the Coney Island amusement park, thisPiece is a true historical glimpse ofthe days of the innocencealmost 100 years ago. Just imagine Riding the carousel with that FANTASTIC CALLIOPE and grabbing for the Brass Ring!!!
The tray measures 13\" x 9 \" and is raised 1/2\",showing children and parents riding the park\'s famed carousel, a Merry go Round complete with WonderfulPipe Organ Calliope!\"Made in U.S.A.\" marked on theBottom at the left, while Mr.Schlesinger\'s \"LSC\" logo, can be seen on the side of the swan on the right. Raised gold border surrounds the scene, and in the middle of each side is a long red oval, each one with the image of one of the animals from the ride. A Llama, a Swan, A Girrafe and a Zebra. VibrantReds, Yellows, Blues and Gold are themain colors of this very detailed,rarepiece.
The tray is in a condition I would rate a 9 out of 10 for it\'s age!! It hasNO dents and NO rust. There are some very minor patches of paint loss on the litho, but all in all, the Graphics are SUPER!!!
