Up foroffers is an antique Majolica pitcher in the form of a frog or toad. It is 5”tall and the eyes are made of glass. There is part of a maker’s mark on thebottom but I can’t make it out see close-up). The number “17” is also hand paintedthere. Its “provenance” is in the form of a humorous note, dated 1920, that istaped to the bottom of the piece (see close-up). This pitcher is in excellentcondition.
