All sell !ITEM: You are offerding on an original stone lithograph poster from the early 1920s with a macabre early art deco orientalist style. Created by E. Mirabet, this is an antique vaudeville theater poster advertising \"The Bhuda\" (Buddha), a magic show presented by the touring company \"Chang and Fak-Hong\'s United Magicians.\" Chang & Fak Hong were traveling magicians on the circus and early vaudeville theater circuit, known in Spanish as the Hermanos Roca. The text in the margins reads \"Lit. Hija E. Mirabet, Pizarro. 29 Valencia. Made in Spain.\" The image features a Chinese magician conjuring a skeleton and a snake from a magic box, with green and blue dominating in the background, and skeletal dragons and other symbols of the macabre floating around. The colors are brilliant and are in excellent condition. The graphics have an incredible cross collectible appeal for any lover of art deco illustration, vaudeville, magic, orientalist art, or poster design. This has not been linen backed. Quite rare.
