Fresh From Yonkers Estate, by the way of Mr. Wolf, we have a pleasure to offer you this beautiful large uber RARE Antique 19th century RUSSIAN 84 Silver marked Handled Reticulated Floral Basket, St. Petersburg. Piece is dated 1848. Great great great quality, repousse floral work around edges is crisp and phenomenal! The handle moves smoothly from one side to the other, it is made in a form of the wood branches, with small flowers (see photos). Mint condition considering the age, no dents, gashes, breaks (could stand a good cleaning). Marked on the bottom with maker\'s mark \"DT (in Cyrillic), than \" CAS \" between stars, also \" 84 \" the Russian Empire mark for Silver and another hallmark that is hard to see (see photo). Also, the piece is marked on the outer edge of the base \"CAS\" and another round mark hard to see. Basket is not monogramed. Size is large 9\" diameter, all silver, not weighted.
