The platehas a hairline that extends from 1 side to the other and extends to the back, it has been restored and is guaranteed 100% secure, it rings true when you tap it. There are 4 areas in the center of the platewhere small glaze chips have been filled inwith orange and yellow and 2 areas at the edge along the crack which have been filled in with orange. You can refer to the pictures. There are no other chips, cracks, and or repairs. There is 1 slight glaze nick at the outsideperimeter of the plate to the right of the one tree.There is crazing throughout and some light scratches to the glossy glaze. No other issues, we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the condition of this plate. The plate measures 10 5/8\" in diameter x 1 1/2\" high x 5 1/4\" at the rounded base and weighs approximately 1lb 14 oz. The plate features a wonderful slip decoration of 3 wavy linesin the center of the plate surrounded with 4 tree decorationswith a great pumpkin orange background glaze and hand nicked rim. This Pennsylvania redware slip plate dates from the early 1800\'s, most likely from the Southeastern area. It would make a great addition to anyone\'s collection.
