I was going to put a reserve on this as it is truly a priceless find.. I did not clean it up at all .. still has some dust and is ALL ORIGINAL .. I looked it over and can see NO MISSING dots .. the rosettes are not broken or cracked .. one is turned around and I just left it as found.. the leather medallions have dots all around the edges and the brow does too .. it has un cleaned buckles on both sides of the martingale .. the snaps are present .. rusty as they should be for age.. the 3 rosettes on the chest martingale are all matching .. and the 2 on the cheeks of the headstall are matching .. the headstalls are known as The Pharaoh\'s Horses.. they are a Lucite like dome and some may have scuffs or missing foil when look close .. the reins are so unusual .. they are pliable and were with the headstall and martingale .. all the leather headstall and martingale needs cleaning ..I left the sweat on them ..and they need lots of conditioning as it is but in remarkably good condition for it\'s age ..there are 2 light metal ORIGINAL bridle rosettes with a heart .. I did not take them off to see if they were marked in anyway.. they are lightweight tin like the old timers..The leather medallions are BIG .. each measures about 4 x 7 inches and the large heart measures about 4 1/2 inches across and the silver dots continue down between the front legs away.. I understand this is vintage 20\'s maybe up to 40\'s .. used for parade ? or? maybe mounted horsemen or mounted police ? either way if you want to own something that will be a great conversation piece this is it !! .. decorate an office .. den .. tack room .. restaurant or bar .. you won\'t find this often if ever again.. I think it will be the outstanding piece of history you own.. what a wall hanger .. or what about taking pictures with this on your horse for Christmas .. PLEASE take care of it .. it is a rare one..
